I know that it is very late for me to review this eyeshadow palette. I have had this palette since it was launched, but I haven’t got a chance to sit down and do the review. This Dream St Shadow is the first palette that a Youtuber, Kathleen Lights, has partnered up with Colourpop. She recently launched the second palette named Zodiac Palette. Based on the color selection, I would prefer Dream St Palette because the colors are perfect for everyday. However, is it great enough that it deserves the hype? Keep on reading.
My sisters just went back from Korea and brought me a handful of beauty products. I am so excited to try them, especially the Pony Effect products, since I haven’t tried one. Besides that, I also bought some Korean beauty product in Indonesia and online stores. So, without further ado, here’s my Korean beauty haul.
I haven’t heard about Focallure before, but when I watched a Youtuber, Tasya Farasya, used it in her channel, I was getting curious. She said that the quality of Focallure’s eyeshadow surpassed high-end one. Since the price of this eyeshadow is so cheap, I immediately ordered Focallure We Care Your Favors shade 01 Bright Lux on e-bay for less than 10 USD. Of course I had to be patient because my order came almost two months later. Now that I have played with it, I finally can make a review out of it. Can I agree with Tasya on this one?
I have tried a lot of products in 2017. Not everything is newly released, but they are new to me. However, only some that blew my mind. I packed my favorites, from hair products, skincare, to makeup, in one post because I don’t have that many products to make several posts. If you curious about my beauty favourites in 2017, keep on reading.
While organizing my makeups, I came across some makeups that I used to wear almost everyday. Some of them were my holy grail. Some of them I wore because I did not have another option. It is sad that those products are left in the bottom of my drawer. So, I decided to bring them back and used them in my face. I, too, am curious about what I think about them nowadays because now I have tried many products. If you wanna know what are my old favorites, then keep on reading:
I have to confess that I am drawn to this palette because of the packaging. It is oh so beautiful. I had to give Tasya two thumbs up for her ideas on this packaging. It is so sleek and elegant. It even looks like high end makeup that you can buy in Sephora. In her Youtube channel, Tasya said that she was inspired by the color of sunset. That inspiration can be seen in the gradation of yellow to purple. The writing of Sunset itself is holographic, which makes it more beautiful.
This limited edition eyeshadow is very affordable. It costs only IDR 125.000, including Nivea eye makeup remover and micellar water. The makeup remover and micellar water each cost around IDR 30.000. That means that the eyeshadow palette costs less than IDR 100.000 for 7.8 g of products (each 1.3 g). However, how is the quality of the eyeshadow? Is it as good as the packaging? Keep on reading to find out.
This month’s haul is about discovering Indonesian brand. I tried to incorporate Indonesian brands to my makeup arsenal because I found that some Indonesian products are as good as US or Korean brands. Moreover, most Indonesian makeup products are much more cheaper than any makeup that we found in Sephora.
I searched up and down mall and online store to find Indonesian products. I found some Indonesia products that caught my eyes. However, along the way, as you can see from my haul, I still cannot resist from buying US
and Korean brands. Read along if you are interested in what I will try this month and review in the near future:
